China's economic agenda is different - Wang Jianmao

The world might be suffering from an economic crisis, in Shanghai the symptoms of that crisis are simply not present, says professor Wang Jianmao of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), China's leading business school, in the Financial Times:
“The impact of the crisis is much less than outsiders believe,” says Professor Wang Jianmao of the China Europe International Business School (Ceibs). “In China, we have our own agenda, we are very unlikely to speed up or slow down because of something that happened outside the country.”...
Prof Wang says China is fed up with great leaps forward: “Groping forward” is a wiser strategy, he says, “that way we won’t so easily make a big mistake”.
